How do I get in touch with 1298?
It is very easy to get in touch with us, 1298 can be dialled from following landline or mobile (providers- Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, TATA, Loop, MTNL) without any STD Code.

You can also do advance booking of ambulances online on our website www.1298.in in 3 easy steps. First enter your location, Second share your personal details and Third send the request and our Customer Care Executive will call and confirm the booking.

Why 1298?  
1298 Ambulances are fully equipped Ambulances, with trained paramedic on board to handle any medical emergency. 
There are 2 Types of Ambulances: Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support.
  • Basic Life Support Ambulance has all the patient carrying and transferring equipments with trained Ambulance crew. BLS Ambulances are mainly  used during cases like Fracture, Faint, Viral and Fever
  • Advanced Life Support Ambulance is a mini ICU equipped with all the equipments and trained staff to handle emergencies like Cardiac, Epilepsy, Snake Bite, Unconsciousness , Burnt or Pregnancy
What happens when you call 1298?
When you call 1298, you will be asked for personal information which will be useful for us to dispatch the Ambulance.When you call 1298, an operator will ask you which emergency service you need. In a medical emergency, ask for the ambulance service and you will be put through to one of our Customer Care Executive who will seek following information :
  • The address where you are, including the postcode.
  • The phone number you are calling from.
  • What has happened.
  • The patient’s age, sex and medical history;
Charges of using 1298?
The rates of 1298 Ambulances are transparent and decided primarily on per meter/kms reading.

Do you have trained and medical staff on board?
 Yes, all the Ambulance crew of 1298 are trained by Lifesupporters Institute of Health Science (LIHS), is the International Training Centre of the American Heart Association (AHA).

Our Ambulance Crew, which includes Doctors / EMT / Drivers / Helpers, are trained on First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques, enabling them to stabilize patients on board.

Do you undertake out outstation patient transfer?
Yes we do undertake out station patient transfer as per patient’s requirement and can also support in medical air evacuation.

Do you refer/have tie ups with hospitals?

The patients using 1298 Ambulance are taken to the hospital decided by the patient or his family. In case the patient hasn’t decided the destination we take the patient to nearest civic/government hospital.

How to make the payment?

We only accept cash payment post the completion of call.
